The early loading of different surface-modified implants: a randomized clinical trial

Abstract Background Various surface treatment options have been adopted with the aim to improve osseointegration, reducing overall time. Implant stability of early loaded implants different modified surfaces was compared in present study. Methods Patients were selected from Department Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatology at Semmelweis University. randomly received SA (alumina sandblasted acid-etched), NH (bioabsorbable apatite nanocoating) or SLA (large-grit acid-etched) implants. Outcome measures were: implant success, stability, periodontal parameters. The measured time placement (primary stability) six weeks after (prothesis delivery, secondary stability). Shapiro–Wilk Mann–Whitney tests used for comparison between groups. Results A total 75 length diameter inserted into various positions.
